Announcing the 2015 UC Fleet Managers’ Conference: October 14 – 16, 2015!
The UC Fleet Managers’ Conference (UCFMC) is an annual event where all UC Fleet Managers and associates come to discuss, be educated, and share information on the “best practices” of running UC fleets; information on emerging technologies, industry trends, and sustainability programs.
The conference will be held at UCSC this year! We have chosen the following hotel for accomodations. Please click the image for more information on the site and don’t forget to let the hotel staff know that you are part of the UC Fleet Manager’s group. They will discuss our conference’s negotiated rates at that time.
Arriving at the Conference: Links for how to get to the Beach Street Inn from Mineta San Jose International Airport, San Francisco Int’l Airport, or directly from your location to the Beach Street Inn are provided below. Public transporation from the SF Bay Area to Santa Cruz often terminates at the Santa Cruz Metro Station. A link with tools to get you from the Santa Cruz Metro Station to the hotel is also featured below. Due to campus parking demand, we strongly encourage everyone to assemble at the hotel. UCSC shuttle vans will be provided from the Beach Street Inn to the conference site beginning at 11AM on Wednesday, October 14. Check-in time is at 3PM but arrangements have been made for luggage assignment and storage. The conference will be held at the University Center, Alumni Room. Registration will be open from 11AM through 1PM. Lunch will be served at 12PM.

Leaving the Conference: UCSC shuttle vans will be leaving the conference site for the Beach St. Inn at 12:15PM. Hotel check-out is at 11AM. You may make arrangements for hotel staff to hold your luggage while you are attending the last sessions of the conference and pick it up upon your return. You may also bring your luggage to the conference on one of our shuttle vans and plan to meet an airport shuttle or public transportation outside the conference site upon conclusion.
