Traci Ferdolage Associate Vice Chancellor, Physical Planning, Development, & Operations, September 2017
UC Santa Cruz has hired Traci Ferdolage to serve as the associate vice chancellor for Physical Planning, Development, and Operations. She started on September 13, 2017.
Ferdolage comes from Humboldt State University where she served as associate vice president of facilities management.
At Humboldt, Ferdolage was responsible for planning, design, and construction; operations and maintenance; energy and sustainability; parking and commuter services; and real estate functions.
This new campus position was created by restructuring the AVC position within Physical Planning and Construction so that it will now oversee a new unit that combines PP&C, Physical Plant, and Real Estate.
"The major objective of the restructure is to enhance integration of facility planning, acquisition, construction, management, operation, maintenance and renewal in order to better serve the campus," said Sarah Latham, vice chancellor for Business and Administrative Services. "I believe Traci possesses the leadership capabilities to successfully advance this goal."
Watch for updates as the transition takes place.
