Campus Planning
Campus Planning helps guide initial project development and building siting to conform with the campus’ long-term goals, principles, and guidelines, including natural land management, transportation and utility infrastructure, and campus life and the surrounding community.

Design & Construction
Design & Construction supports the UC Santa Cruz academic vision by managing and overseeing physical capital construction and major maintenance in a way that ensures the projects contribute to and support campus life by ensuring visually pleasing, functional, and sustainable facilities that are sensitive and responsive to the surrounding natural and social contexts.

Work Management
Work Management provides safe and sustainable stewardship of the University’s built environment through project estimates, project management, and customer service for the betterment of campus life.

Estimate
A cost estimate is an accurate accounting of expected project costs. The more accurate & detailed the scope of work, the more detailed and accurate the estimate.

Projects
To start any facility or infrastructure-related improvement project, the Primary Project Contact or Principal Officer for the Division must initiate a Project Request.

Planning Reviews
Planning reviews are conducted in accordance with the guidelines established by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Spaces
Complete a request for internal campus space. Submitted requests are collected and reviewed by the University Space Committee.
