Project blurb: Energy Management has been working with Silicon Valley Power and Alternative Energy Systems Consulting (AESC) at our Silicon Valley Campus to identify and implement low and no-cost energy saving projects. We will be embarking on a similar program on the Main Campus – CLEAResult’s Higher Education Efficiency Performance (HEEP) Program.
Strategic Energy Management (SEM) is a holistic approach to energy efficiency and cost reduction over time, using expert coaching and stakeholder engagement to identify and implement low and no-cost projects and promote energy saving behavioral changes.
We have completed our first year of a three-year SEM program at the Silicon Valley Extension Campus, working with AESC Inc. Our goal is to save 25,000 kWh per year – check out a video on the program below.
