Mission Statement
Fleet Services will provide high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective services for the over 800 vehicles and ancillary equipment operated at UCSC. We further pledge to offer sustainable transportation that is responsive to the needs of the campus community and supports the mission of the University of California. For over 40 years, Fleet Services has kept UCSC moving. We offer daily rentals for staff and student groups, vehicle lease-to-own arrangements, and advice to departments looking to purchase and operate a vehicle at the University. Our “Central Garage” also provides fueling, maintenance, and repair services for a growing campus. Presently, we are researching new technologies that will allow the campus fleet to be powered by sustainably produced energy sources in an effort to take the fleet into the 21st century.
